Ray Johnson MBE’s entertaining performance will give a contemporary perspective on Astley, the man and showman, from someone who worked with Astley for many years.

The memoirs of J. Decastro: Comedian, published in 1824, provide a unique and personal contemporary insight into Philip Astley the working showman.

Ray Johnson will bring Decastro to life, with first-hand quotes and anecdotes from his memoirs.
