Silver Unsung Hero Award for Andrew Van Buren:

Staffordshire’s best tourism and hospitality businesses have been crowned at the 2022-23 Enjoy Staffordshire Tourism and Good Food Awards.

More than 280 guests were at the Doubletree by Hilton Stoke-on-Trent for a glittering ceremony, where the winners and runners up in 20 categories were announced by BBC Midlands Today television presenter Rebecca Wood.

Attractions, accommodation businesses, notable individuals and places to eat were among the fantastic operators celebrated for their dedication and hard work in giving visitors to Staffordshire an incredible and unforgettable experience.

In the Unsung Hero category Andrew Van Buren of Van Buren Entertainment Organisation, who is also a Director of Philip Astley Project CIC was awarded the Silver ‘Unsung Hero Award’ for his extensive work promoting Philip Astley and his legacy of Circus while also working on making a positive difference to his and Philip Astley’s birthplace Newcastle Under Lyme, Staffordshire, England.

The Unsung Hero award was sponsored by We Are Staffordshire.
